About The Centre
Malaysian Graduate Entrepreneurship Development Centre (PUSMAL) is an agency under the auspices of the University of Malaya, responsible for lifting up entrepreneurship agenda among students and graduates from universities / colleges in the country. PUSMAL was established in December 2005 which was once known as the Business and SME Research Unit (UNIK), located in Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya. Now, PUSMAL has moved to Level 1, Block B, Perdana Siswa Complex, University of Malaya. PUSMAL was officially opened on July 14, 2009 by YB Dato' Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, Minister of Higher Education. PUSMAL is managed by the board of directors led by Mr. Ab. Azid bin Hj Che Ibrahim as the Executive Director. PUSMAL’s responsibility is to inculcate entrepreneurship culture among students at university level and create new entrepreneurs
among the graduates through the concept of Symbiotic Collaboration. Where, PUSMAL provide courses and organize visits to industries in order to provide exposure and promote entrepreneurship among students. PUSMAL also serves as a bridge connecting industries with government agencies in formulating businesses in order to create new entrepreneurs among the graduates.
